The stadium in Słubice has a long history. Built in the years 1914-27, it is one of the oldest sports venues in Europe with so much of its original form still preserved. In 2014, it has been entered into the register of historic monuments. Aside from the stadium itself, also the swimming pool and 4 side pitches are under protection, as there is an environmentally valuable pond between them (home to amphibians and kingfishers). The sports complex next to the stadium includes an ice rink, a golf course, a tennis court, and an outdoor swimming pool (in the summer).
