There used to be a wooden church on the site of the present church. On Sunday, September 15, 1985, the wooden church burned down. Only the liturgical vessels kept in the safe survived the fire. Before the charred remains of the church had been cleared away, the decision to build a new temple, obvious to the inhabitants of Ciasna, started to give rise to specific actions.
The first in a series of documents directly related to the new church was the preliminary consent for its construction signed by the voivode of Częstochowa, Grzegorz Lipowski, on December 12, 1985. On October 30, 1994, the church of St. Trinity in Ciasna.
