An interesting attraction not only for children in Olszyna is the Devil's Stone. This natural monument is an erratic boulder that was left on Jałowcowa street, brought in the first half of the 20th century. At that time, the sleigh was pulled by 6 pairs of horses.
The Devil's Stone is made of red granite, is less than 2 meters high and has a circumference of 5 meters. He was brought to Olszyna from nearby Hadra. Currently, it stands on the site of the former Evangelical mortuary chapel.
There is a legend about the stone that the parish priest in Olszyna had a fight with the devil a long time ago. He swore revenge and decided to demolish the church by throwing a huge stone on it. Due to the winter, the devil was unable to transport the boulder from Hadra. Legend has it that the devil takes the chains every night and tries to reach the church with the stone, but fails.
