Between the buildings at Woźnicka street there is a monument dedicated to the Fallen Defenders of the Fatherland. The monument was erected in 1961. On a two-tier base there are two rectangular stone blocks set one on top of the other and topped with an eagle taking flight. On the upper block, from the front, the Virtuti Militari Cross, and on the side, a shield crowned with an eagle and swords, the inscription Grunwald - Berlin and the date 1410 - 1945. On the lower block there are inscriptions informing about the occasion on which it was erected.
