Truszczyca is a tiny district of Kalety with a historic alley of huge and very old oaks. In total, about 400 unique specimens of these trees grow here. Oaks lane starts in the Kuczów district. Hence, it's best to start exploring it. This can be done during a long walk, or you can use a bicycle. The whole road is about 4 km.
The oaks begin in the vicinity of the local forester's lodge. Next to it, we can see 8 trees with a circumference of 2.9 m to 4.5 m. They are most likely around 300 years old. As soon as we reach the last buildings, we will see the oldest and largest trees. They are located near the dam, which in the past was supposed to dam up the river for Kaletańskie factories of pulp and paper. This place is very beautiful and begs to be used for rest. You can sit on the dam or sunbathe while listening to the sound of water.
