Built in 1911, the water pumping station is an example of industrial architecture successfully merged with the scenery. The “Warniki” pumping station is responsible for the drainage of the vast meadows spreading eastwards all the way to Witnica. The drained water is discharged into the Warta river, maintaining stable ground- and surface water conditions necessary for efficient farming.
