At the turn of May and June, every year in the center of the Lasy nad Górną Liswarta Landscape Park, in the forest between Pawełki and Lubock, you can admire beautifully blooming rhododendrons. The valuable site is located on the "To the Birch" path.
A remarkable natural monument - the site of an almost 100-year-old Katawby rhododendron (0.46 ha), tourists can admire from the observation tower.
The position was established by Count Ballestrem in 1904-1906. At that time, he was building a palace in Kochcice, and the shrubs planted here were probably to be moved to the palace park. For unknown reasons, the bushes remained in the place of the nursery. And so they have been preserved to this day, surrounded by a pine forest. The described place is subject to legal protection, there are restrictions and prohibitions: destroying plants, littering, making noise and scaring the game away.
