The old road north from Pyrzyce to Stargard used to lead outside the town walls through the Stettin Gate (Brama Szczecińska). Today, the road runs next to the Owl Tower (Baszta Sowia), through the roundabout and straight north, cutting through the railroad tracks and eventually up Brzezinka Hill (Góra Brzezinka) which rises to 43 metres above mean sea level. After the waste water treatment plant, the road turns right to the north east and runs through the fields. After around 1 kilometre, the road intersects a dirt road from Brzezin. This marks the boundary of Brzezin’s farm fields - anything further north belongs to Ryszew. Is the massive boulder with a hoof print still standing at the road?
